This is the LHCSS FAQ section. There you will find answers to the most commonly asked questions.
School Email
Your school email address is typically be your first name, dot and then your last name followed by “@lhcss.edu.lc”
eg. firstname.lastname@lhcss.edu.lc
At the top of the page, click Resources. Scroll down and click “School Email Login”. Additionally, you can open a blank tab in your browser and type in www.gmail.com in the URL bar. Enter your entire email address as your username.
If you forget your password, you must contact your homeroom teacher or School Email Administrator immediately.
Requirement for passwords include:
* Minimum seven characters in length.
*Maximum 14 characters in length.
*Must contain English uppercase and lowercase letters.
*Do not use words found in the dictionary.
*Do not use proper names.
*Cannot contain all or part of the user’s user name.
*Cannot contain any part of the user’s full name.
*Cannot reuse previous three passwords.
Google Classroom
Step 1: From your email inbox, click on the Google apps icon, located next to the crest.
Step 2: Select the Google Classroom icon from list.
Step 3: If you are joining the class for the first time, click on the + and then select ‘Join class’.
Step 4: Enter the class code provided by your teacher and click on ’Join’
